About Me

I was born and raised in rural Virginia, in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I was raised as a farmer's daughter and I learned to appreciate the beauty God created in nature, animals, and people. At five years old, my grandmother taught me to play the piano and I haven't stopped playing. I am very involved in my church by serving on the church board, accompanying two choirs and a men's gospel quartet, and singing in a women's a cappella group. I married a farmer who wishes I would devote more time to farming. We have a rescued golden retriever named Duke. I love being outdoors and my husband and I spend our leisure time fishing and making time to travel together.

About the Photographer

I picked up a DSLR for our honeymoon to Hawaii in 2009. After my family and friends saw my photos from the trip, I had several requests to take family photos. From there, it has grown from a self-taught hobby to a semi-professional business. I photograph portraits, business headshots, events, real estate, and the occasional wedding. Photographs are the only way to preserve memories to keep and pass on. Don't miss the opportunity!
